Certain requirements on the server must be met so that xt:Commerce 4 functions properly.

System requirements on the server:

• At least PHP version 5.1.2
• Mysql 5
• IonCube Loader must be pre-installed on the server or there must be the option of downloading it during the run time
• PHP libraries: cURL, Zlib, GDlib v2 with GIF support
• deactivated safe mode
• register_globals = Off
• session_autostart = Off
• File uploads permitted
• min. 32 MB max. memory (64 MB recommended)
• "mod_rewrite" activated
• Symlinks activated
• allow_url_fopen & allow_url_include activated/available

We recommend a database with a size as of 150 MB.
The server must be completely configured to UTF-8. (database connection, the database and all files)
Furthermore, we recommend the operation on a server with Linux as the system software.
xt:Commerce 4 does work on Windows-based systems however, either an Apache web server must be used here or the IIS must be completely configured for php (which is normally not the case).
